Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-13
Scope
These terms concern the free Brand Tool Guide editorial website, published by Ray Donnelly in Ireland. They are not sales terms or a software licence. Contact information is in the Legal Notice.
Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Reading a page does not consent to analytics or marketing or transfer your intellectual-property rights.
Information and your decisions
Our material provides general educational information about marketing software and workflows. Suitability depends on your business and circumstances. It is not tailored legal, tax, financial, regulatory or other professional advice.
Check consequential details with suppliers and seek qualified advice where appropriate. Back up and safely test changes before applying instructions to a live store. These precautions do not remove responsibilities the law places on us.
Acceptable use
You may read and use the site for lawful purposes. Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, bypass security controls, impersonate the publisher or infringe other people's rights.
Do not use automated access that materially disrupts the service or unlawfully copies protected material. This does not cancel statutory exceptions or lawful access rights. Report security concerns privately without accessing other people's data or testing beyond your authority.
Content and third-party links
Our Copyright and Content Use Policy explains reuse of protected material. Third-party branding remains subject to its owners' rights. Mentioning software does not imply endorsement by its owner.
Third-party suppliers set their own terms, handle their own payments and provide their own services. Check their terms before purchasing. We do not control those services, but remain responsible for our own statements and legal obligations.
Availability and changing information
We may correct, update or remove content and carry out maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature, price or instruction remains current after publication. Report material errors using our Editorial and Corrections Policy.
Responsibility and limitations
To the extent the law permits in the circumstances, we do not accept responsibility for losses caused solely by a third-party service, unauthorised alterations to our content, or use outside purposes and limitations clearly explained in the material. This does not exclude responsibility for our own breach of a legal duty where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing restricts mandatory remedies or a consumer's lawful right to bring a claim.
Feedback and correspondence
Sending feedback does not transfer ownership of your work to us. We may use factual suggestions to investigate and improve content. We will seek permission before publishing a private message, testimonial or identifiable case study unless another clear lawful justification applies.
Do not send information you lack authority to share. Ordinary correspondence does not establish a confidential professional-advice relationship. Our Privacy Policy applies to personal information.
Complaints, applicable law and changes
Email hello@brandtoolguide.com with the relevant URL, issue and outcome you seek. Contacting us is not a mandatory precondition to exercising a legal right.
These terms are governed by Irish law, subject to applicable mandatory protections. This does not deprive consumers of protections or courts available under applicable law. We do not impose mandatory arbitration or exclusive Irish jurisdiction on every visitor.
Updates apply prospectively and do not remove accrued rights. The date above identifies this version.
