Copyright and Content Use
Last updated: 2026-09-13
Ownership and limits
Rights are reserved in protectable original material created and owned by the publisher for Brand Tool Guide, unless a different licence is stated. The footer's automatically displayed year is not a claim that every article was created or reviewed in that year.
We do not claim ownership of third-party software, trademarks, screenshots, quotations, licensed assets or public-domain material. Rights in contributions depend on the relevant agreement. A copyright notice does not create rights in AI-generated material where the law does not provide them.
Reading, linking and personal use
You may link to publicly available pages without implying endorsement. You may read, bookmark and keep a reasonable personal reference copy for lawful use. This permission does not include republishing substantial protected content, reselling it or presenting it as your own work.
Applicable statutory exceptions remain available. Attribution alone does not necessarily permit copying a whole article, illustration or substantial part of protected material.
Reuse requests
Ask before reproducing substantial protected material, translating and republishing a guide, incorporating our assets into a commercial product or distributing copies publicly, unless a specific licence or legal exception already permits the use.
Contact hello@brandtoolguide.com with the material, intended use, audience and distribution method. A separately stated licence takes precedence for the material it covers.
Third-party material
Product names and trademarks are used for identification and discussion, not to imply ownership or endorsement. Using a name in commentary does not give readers permission to reuse the owner's branding. Check the relevant rights and licence terms.
Reporting a rights concern
Email us with the URL and material concerned, the work or right you believe is affected, your relationship to the rights holder, contact details, useful evidence and the response you seek.
We will assess credible reports and may request clarification, correct attribution, restrict access or remove material as appropriate. This is not a promise of automatic removal and does not require anyone to waive legal rights.
